What your day looks like

  • Develop and maintain client relationships through outbound calls, emails, or face-to-face interaction
  • Evaluate your client's technology issues and offer a variety of solutions to solve them
  • Manage your client accounts from beginning to end, be engrained in the success of your client's business
  • Build relationships with manufacturing and distribution partners
  • Attend training courses and complete certifications to continuously build technical knowledge
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of the sales process and programs utilized by suppliers

What experience you need to be successful

  • 3+ years selling computer hardware & software products, solutions, and services to mid-market and enterprise clients required
  • The proven ability to build your own book of business from the ground up (choose your own verticals, territories, geographies, etc.)
  • Cross-market industry knowledge (HP Enterprises, HP Inc., Dell EMC, VMware, Cisco, Lenovo, Microsoft, Apple, etc.)
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated and possess a strong desire for financial success
