Michael Pace joins MicroAge as senior account executive in North Carolina
MicroAge, The Digital Transformation Experts®, is proud to announce that Michael Pace has recently joined the organization as senior account executive in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Michael Pace has held senior and specialist roles at several digital services companies. He comes to MicroAge with over 25 years of business development experience, and fourteen years working in IT. He helps businesses identify and implement the ideal IT solution for every challenge they face, through cloud-based services, software and hardware. At MicroAge, Pace will work to help businesses develop smarter outcomes and a better bottom line.
“My clients are my highest priority,” says Pace. “It isn’t just about being responsive with a quick turnaround time. My goal is building a better customer experience and lasting working relationships. Making sure you get the right solution for your unique circumstance is important. Now, at MicroAge, I can not only tap into my own experience, but I can also leverage our expansive industry partnerships and deep bench of in-house engineers and subject matter experts.”
This strategic new hire is part of an overall push from MicroAge to bring on additional IT talent across the country. The tech skills gap is being felt all over the world, powered by a talent shortage and companies looking to grow their ranks to provide more services for their clients. This has been a growing issue for years, but became even more stark during the pandemic. The industry is evolving faster than tech and IT professionals can keep up with, making it difficult for companies to recruit the experts they need.
The rapid rise in remote work has driven the need for more flexibility from service providers like MicroAge, which has quickly adapted and grown its services in response. MicroAge associates strive to provide a robust mix of services and technology solutions to clients wherever they are, which is why its presence is growing nationally. Led by a talented team of business leaders, Michael Pace is the first of a number of important hires MicroAge is making as it continues to expand and diversify.
“At MicroAge our talent is our smartest investment in our future and our clients.’ Our sales force is rapidly expanding nationwide, and we’re proud to add North Carolina to our map of official, local representation with Michael coming on board,” shares Tracey Hayes, MicroAge vice president of sales.
