The MicroAge Event and Lead Generation specialist is a critical member of the MicroAge marketing department, supporting lead generation through webinar and client-facing event coordination and working directly with sales to provide nonstop lead support. This is a new role on our expanding team as MicroAge grows to meet industry demand and disruption. This associate will be a liaison between sales, suppliers, marketing peers, and management to assist in coordinating leads and events.

Note: This role is temporarily remote until we can safely return our support staff to our local office headquarters for regular or hybrid work onsite.

What your day looks like:

  • Work with Creative Specialist and Communications Director to coordinate webinar events and invite messaging
  • Coordinate and execute client-facing events in tandem with Creative Specialist, including webinars, on-site visits, and virtual or in-person steakouts
  • Coordinate with SMEs from different technology practices in the sales organization to identify potential webinar topics
  • Serve as back up to Partner Relations Specialist on virtual events and Lunch and Learns
  • Manage relevant supplier portals
  • Act as a key contact for day-to-day administration
  • Assist with lead management and updates, including in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Can assist with CRM, Drift Chat platform, and marketing automation for lead creation and campaigns
  • Filter and verify new leads
  • Create and dedupe prospecting lists
  • “Clean” CRM data
  • Flag incorrect data for Discover.org
  • Create and dedupe prospecting lists for client events
  • Work with Lead Specialist to support lead distribution
  • Track all leads that come in via CRM
  • Collaborate with Lead Specialist to provide reporting to management
  • Manage client opt-out preferences

What experience you need to be successful:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales and marketing environments
  • Experience working with lead generation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; not required
  • Must be proficient in CRM, chatbots, and accessing portals
  • Possess a laser-focused attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Have good planning and organizational skills
  • Can work both independently and as a team member
  • Be able to interact successfully with internal and external clients
  • Feel comfortable working in a deadline-driven, goal-oriented environment
  • Must be customer-service oriented and ready to be flexible and embrace a sales-driven culture
