We are seeking a detail-oriented associate to provide support for our growing sales group. The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely order review and processing. They will provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers by demonstrating prompt and thorough attention to details, issues, and requests, working Monday-Friday till 5:30 p.m..

As an Order Processing Specialist you will:

  • Reviw client operations notes in full ensuring the request is followed and makes sense
  • Address validation issues such as “other” suppliers, California recycle fee issues and releasing orders once addressed
  • Contact sales associates when issues arise and work with them to correct errors or issues
  • Ensure sales associates are following correct procedures when placing orders and educating them on best practices
  • Preauthorize credit card orders
  • Manually orders from Channel Online when necessary
  • Ensure tax ties to Channel prior to releasing orders
  • Verify tax applicability from incoming Channel orders when necessary
  • Assist in confirmation of ship to addresses, setting up suppliers and clients when necessary
  • Make credit decisions under $2,500
  • Serve as a backup in other areas as necessary

What experience you need to be successful:

  •  3+ years of previous order processing, purchasing, invoicing, and/or accounts payable experience required
  • Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills
  • Superior administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries is required
  • Experience in sales support, purchasing, invoicing, and order entry systems a plus
