Note: This role is temporarily remote until we can safely return our support staff to our local office headquarters.

What your day looks like:

  • Develop key relationships with each distributor to have a clearly defined proactive quoting process with the goal of having our quotes at least 60 days in advance of expiration
  • Learn specific quoting criteria for all partners and assist as a subject matter expert for our Account Executives
  • Review the quotes for accuracy (including line items and application of correct discounting); sending them back to the distributor or partner when incorrect
  • Identify which account executive owns the quoting opportunity and send them the MicroAge-priced quote
  • Create a “pipeline” for the quotes to track; follow up with the account executive to ensure they are on track for an on-time closing
  • Leverage internal reporting to cross-reference the distributor and partner reports and ensure renewals don’t slip through the cracks
  • Act as a liaison supporting account executives in all renewal requests
  • Work with Renewals SME who will provide direction, processes and best practices

What experience you need to be successful:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in the IT/Technology industry required
  • 1 – 2 years of contractual experience working with agreements and contracts required
    • Experience handling contract renewals is HIGHLY preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Outlook experience
  • A forward-thinking, results-oriented approach
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have good attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
  • Be able to interact successfully with internal and external clients
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-quoting volume environment
