Job Summary

The MicroAge Renewals & Leads Specialist is a critical member of our MicroAge organization, supporting lead generation through webinars and client-facing event coordination and working directly with sales to provide nonstop lead support. Proactively engaging the sales team and clients on their upcoming renewals, the successful candidate will possess distinct organizational skills. This associate will be a liaison between sales, suppliers, marketing peers, and management to assist in coordinating leads and events while preparing renewal opportunities.

Responsibilities you’ll have as the Renewals & Leads Specialist:

Renewals Management

  • Monitor and respond to incoming renewal requests from suppliers, distributors, sales, and requests sent to the renewals inbox
  • Monitor the Meraki inbox for subscription license keys to be distributed to sales
  • Manage the filing of renewal quotes sent to sales
  • Utilize the upcoming renewals report to proactively obtain quotes within 60 days from expiration by contacting suppliers and distributors to send to sales
  • Schedule monthly tasks to manage upcoming renewals utilizing supplier portals and distribution for quotes
  • Continue to learn and develop quoting process for all supplier renewals
  • Develop relationships with supplier and distributor renewal contacts
  • Engage sales to assist with any renewal quote revisions
  • Provide any additional opportunities related to the renewal quotes for a solution refresh
  • Meet with managers and executives to provide upcoming renewal opportunities for their sales teams

Lead Management and Administration

  • Filter and verify new leads in CRM
  • Create, import, and dedupe prospecting lists
  • ‘Clean’ CRM data by adding, updating, deduping, or removing leads
  • Flag incorrect data for Discover.org
  • Provide reporting to management

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales administration, contract management, lead generation, and/or marketing environments required
  • Previous sales contract renewals experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in CRM, chatbots, and accessing portals
  • Possess laser-focused attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Have good planning and organizational skills
  • Can work both independently and as a team member
  • Be able to interact successfully with internal and external clients
  • Feel comfortable working in a deadline-driven, goal-oriented environment
  • Must be flexible and embrace a sales-driven culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred but not required (Minimum GED required)
