MicroAge has honored VMware with an Outstanding Partner award for 2017. The award is presented annually to supplier partners that demonstrate exceptional commitment to working with MicroAge to deliver innovative IT solutions to the clients they serve.

Larry Fulop, along with Amanda Woody, MicroAge director of partner relations and marketing, present the award to VMware’s Mitch Stott.

Larry Fulop, MicroAge’s vice president of technology solutions, presented the award during MicroAge’s annual awards dinner, which took place at Events on Jackson, on Saturday, Feb. 17. “VMware is truly revolutionizing technology and how we all do business,” Fulop said. “We grew an incredible 47 percent together last year, proving that the solutions they are bringing to the marketplace are valued by clients of all sizes and in all markets.” One of MicroAge’s focus areas has been helping clients move to a software-defined data center model, and VMware’s products help facilitate that. The company’s mission and offerings align beautifully with MicroAge’s vision of a cloud-ready, cloud-first world. “VMware has always provided tremendous support and transparency at the executive level,” Fulop said. “Thank you, VMware, for all you do to support MicroAge and our clients as we transform the world of technology.” Fulop also praised VMware partner sales manager Mitch Stott, who was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of VMware. “Mitch is everything you look for in an account manager — responsive, professional, hardworking and invested in not only the success of VMware, but MicroAge,” he said. “Over the years, our team has truly grown to respect him professionally and admire his work ethic.”
