At MicroAge, giving back to our local communities is deeply ingrained in the company culture. As part of our ActTogether program, MicroAge associates from across the country give back regularly to local nonprofits and causes.
This quarter, our team members were proud to give back to Soldier’s Best Friend, an Arizona-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that partners U.S. military veterans living with combat-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with service or therapy companion dogs—the majority of them rescues—“saving two lives” while “inspiring countless others”.
The organization is devoted to aiding veterans living with combat-related conditions while making a positive impact on the pet overpopulation problem in the United States. Soldier’s Best Friend is committed to ensuring veterans are paired with service or therapy companion canines at no cost to them. To date, the organization has partnered more than 300 dogs with veterans, rescued nearly 200 Arizona rescue dogs, while providing 1668.35 training hours annually.
MicroAge associates from across the country rallied behind the cause to donate items from the Soldier’s Best Friend Amazon wishlist in addition to funds and other office supplies. Donations include collars, training leashes, printer paper, PetSmart gift cards, and more.

Make a Difference for Combat Veterans & Rescue Canines
