HR Generalist

We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support key HR functions, including benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and onboarding. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in fostering a positive workplace experience and ensuring seamless HR operations while contributing to our award-winning people-first culture. Responsibilities you’ll have as an HR Generalist

Assist with HR day-to-day operations in benefits, onboarding, offboarding, administration, compliance, and performance management, as well as other HR-related duties as needed:

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending, COBRA, and 401(k) plans. Monitors compliance with federal and state regulations governing benefits programs.
  • Conduct new hire orientation, Associate Guide training, ADP training, enter into ADP, E-Verify, manage new hire checklist for completed documents
  • Manage all updates in ADP for associate changes: title, pay, address, reporting structure, tax and direct deposit, etc., and communicate changes
  • Backup to recruitment and hiring/onboarding tasks
  • Assist in Culture initiatives
  • Backup to presenting during associate together meetings
  • Evaluate and coach management with drafting and implementing Performance Improvement Plans for approval
  • Federal & State Law- Keep up with the changing laws in each state we are in
  • Update Handbook & SharePoint for compliance and assist with drafting new company policies and templates
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

The knowledge, skills, and abilities you’ll need to be successful

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, including benefits, compliance, employee relations, and onboarding
  • MUST be an expert with the ADP Workforce Now system
  • HR certification is a PLUS
  • Previous experience as a business partner and/or in a leadership role is a PLUS
  • Understand multi-state employment laws
  • Experience in administration or human relations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices
