Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Southern California. The ideal candidate is a player-coach with a track record of success in building strong client relationships and developing sales talent.
OTE: $275,000 – $450,000, Salary + Commission, uncapped compensation plan
Your Role:
- Develop an emerging regional sales territory.
- Lead an existing regional sales team to achieve revenue, gross profit, and company objectives.
- Act as an Account Executive, “player/coach”, until initial revenue targets are achieved.
- Once initial revenue targets are achieved participate in hiring additional sales teams.
- Assist in the development of a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities for MicroAge in alignment with MicroAge’s strategic plan, service practice areas, and sales goals.
- Analyze market trends and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Build a strong ecosystem of local partners in alignment with MicroAge’s national partners.
- Partner with sales leaders, solutions architects, services, marketing, and other departments to achieve successful sales outcomes.
Your Experience:
- 7 – 10 years of experience successfully leading technology sales organizations.
- Strong relationships with partner ecosystem and an ability to leverage it to achieve goals.
- A systematic approach towards leading a sales team.
- Experience coaching sales people using the Challenger Sale, SPIN, MEDDIC, etc.
- Knowledge of company products, markets and technology.
- Experienced in IT professional service’s needs, target decision makers, and departmental forecast for IT needs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Must have the ability to do 25% travel.
