Sales Operations Specialist

The purpose of the Sales Operations Specialist position is to facilitate accurate and efficient sales operations to enable a positive client experience and outcome. The main goals that define what success in this position looks like:

  1. Provide accurate and timely quotations, proposals, and purchase orders in support of the sales process
  2. Collaborate for success – partner with sales, architects, engineers, and others to ensure accuracy and compliance with MicroAge and partner processes and to deliver an excellent client experience

Responsibilities you’ll have as the Sales Operations Specialist:

  • Register and track opportunities and ensure accurate and optimal pricing quotes from distributors and manufacturers
  • Prepare internal and external price quotations and proposals for Account Managers to present to clients
  • Book and track purchase orders and coordinate shipping communications internally and externally
  • Ensure accurate recording of all quotes, proposals, bookings, and purchases
  • Build effective partnerships and ongoing communication with MicroAge teams, partners and manufacturers, and clients
  • Support Account Managers and set them up for success

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful:

  • At least two years of experience that is similar in nature (background in sales support, admin or operations is ideal)
  • Outlook and Excel experience (MS Office suite), CRM (Sales Force, net Suite, ConnectWise) experience is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
