Job Summary

This job contributes to the success of MicroAge. The sales operations specialist facilitates accurate and efficient sales operations to enable a positive client experience and outcome. Provide accurate and timely quotations, proposals, and purchase orders to support the sales process. Collaborate for success—partner with sales, architects, engineers, and others to ensure accuracy and compliance with partner processes and to deliver an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities you’ll have as the Sales Operations Specialist:

  • Register and track opportunities and ensure accurate and optimal pricing quotes from distributors and manufacturers
  • Prepare internal and external price quotations and proposals for Account Managers to present to clients
  • Book and track purchase orders and coordinate shipping communications internally and externally
  • Ensure accurate recording of all quotes, proposals, bookings, and purchases
  • Build effective partnerships and ongoing communication with internal teams, partners and manufacturers, and clients
  • Support Account Managers and set them up for success
  • Take pride and ownership in accurate and high‐quality work
  • Possess a great eye for detail, and look for continuous feedback and ways to optimize the work
  • Planning and organizing; maintain high efficiency even while multi‐tasking
  • Enjoy providing great service and supporting and enabling others
  • Lead with integrity and professionalism at all times

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful:

  • At least two years of experience that is similar in nature
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Understands the process and content for obtaining price quotations, proposals, and purchase orders internally and for partners and manufacturers
  • Able to work and communicate clearly in a technical environment
