Responsibilities you’ll have as a Services Engineer III—NetApp:

  • Lead NetApp professional services engagements including implementations of complex NetApp solutions, Storage Migrations, Upgrades, and Advanced Troubleshooting by identifying and resolving complex system issues
  • Effectively work with multiple external clients on projects and systems with various demands and requirements
  • Assist as needed with pre-sales efforts around scoping, design, discovery, and documentation of NetApp solutions
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation relating to client environments.
  • Support effective knowledge transfer to clients and team members
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and reliability of your work
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our solution stack and delivery methodology

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years required experience with NetApp consulting and delivery of NetApp implementations, hardware refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and technical support.
  • Extensive experience and active certifications across NetApp technology areas
  • Experience and/or certifications in the following is a plus:
    • FlexPod
    • Artificial Intelligence, including AIPod
    • Cisco Route/Switch
    • VMWare
  • The ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Possess the ability and desire to develop relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Follow process and identify possible improvements
  • Ensure proper time management skills
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and read Visio diagrams and create other technical documentation
  • Advanced NetApp troubleshooting skills with hardware and software
  • Travel may be required depending on client needs
